Lavarn Studio designs and builds mobile apps for musicians.
The studio comes out of twenty years of teaching and playing — a conservatory education, years on stage, and years in the lesson room.
That background matters less as a credential than as a source of problems. A metronome that hands you the wrong grouping for 9/8. A setlist you have to rebuild in your head between songs. A screen that asks for attention at the exact moment there is none to give.
So we design the other way around. Before an app takes shape, we talk to the people who will use it: students in lessons, and musicians who play for a living. They describe what gets in their way, and we carry as much of it into the product as we can.
There is a second thing we watch: whether what an app teaches holds up. A tool can work smoothly and still teach something badly. We follow current work in music education and keep our design decisions answerable to it.
Beat Titan Metronome is the first of them. A second is in development and a third is planned.
Lavarn Studio is led by Hazer Erdoğan, a conservatory-trained musician and developer with a master’s degree in music education, based in Ankara.
Each app focuses on one thing. We do not add features to make a list longer.
Every app starts with conversations — in lessons, at rehearsals, after gigs.
A tool you cannot trust not to crash is no tool at all.
We keep up with current thinking in music education, and design against it.
We do not show ads. We do not sell data. We do not ask for permissions an app does not need.
